How to install software that requires Windows Media Player 10, without upgrading to WMP 10 - possible to fake?

I am currently running Windows XP SP2 with WMP 9 (9.0.0.3250 to be precise). I want to install the Sky Anytime software on my computer (see http://anytime.sky.com/). It requires v10 of WMP, however. For various reasons I'd rather not upgrade my WMP. The installer won't proceed until I have WMP 10 or above on my system (presumably this is a DRM-related complaint). How can I trick the installer into thinking I actually have WMP 10?
