Okay so it's an english essay about The Scarlet Letter and No Name Woman (from Maxine Hong Kingstons's The Woman Warrior). The theme is individual vs. community. Does anyone have any tips on how to improve my thesis? "In a society that values the group over the individual, a woman who commits adultery is considered an offense to the entire community and is thereby ostracized."
