If Im over the age of being homeschooled...?

im 17 barely but florida only lets people 6-16 to be home schooled. can they make an exception if i have a huge depression and anxiety problem. I have a phychologist that can vauge for me. Should I just talk to my school then withdraw then get home schooled like i'm trying to receive an education like im acting like i quit school then is trying to tart up agian lkinda like going to adult ed? will they let me get hom schooled this late i the year? i have 6 weeks left of school but i honestly cant take it anymore im getting more and moe depressed by the second by going to school.
