Do I need a levels to do a degree?

I am currently doing my gcse's and I know it's a bit early but I ordered Leeds university prospectus and it says that to gain an a counting and finance course I would need the following .. I need an A in maths and a B in English which I can surely do I would then need atleast 36. Points ,I can get 11 gcse's and the would all be atleast a c mostly a and b which is 5 , 6 and 7 points so by that recognizing I should get on the course bt it says nothing about a level so is that even important
