I see a lot of these products on the market that are steam sterilizers specifically intended for baby bottles, pacifiers, and other baby products. However, could I do the exact same thing with a regular Tupperware? i.e. put some water in the Tupperware, add the bottles, open the vent (or not), and stick in the microwave for a couple of minutes? If this wouldn't work, does anyone know the difference between a Tupperware container and one of those steam sterilizers? Is the material different? Or do you just have less chance of burning yourself with one of the commercial sterilizers?
